If you just happen to be getting up now, you should look back in my archives for a pack already posted this morning. We are now up to pack 6 out of the box...and statistically speaking, if our box contains four hits we ought to find one by now (no relics/autos thus far). Will this be the lucky pack?
Pack 6:
18. Christy Mathewson - Giants
51. Alex Rodriguez - Yankees
In a set that appears to be loaded with Yankee cards, this happens to be only the second Yankee to be pulled out of the box. I'm not complaining about that - but The Lost Collector might since he claimed the Yanks. Of course, we've only opened six packs - and if the last pack was any indication, the team standings can change radically in a hurry!
142. Max Scherzer - Tigers
187. Lance Berkman - Cardinals
Since when did Berkman hit so well? The Cardinals must feed their players some kind of different food or something - so many "washed up" players seem to end up thriving in St. Louis. As a Reds fan, that annoys me.
194. Lorenzo Cain - Royals
Yahoo, the Royals are on the board now!
284. Jed Lowrie - Red Sox
286. Jason Kubel - Twins
296. Ty Cobb - Athletics
This card is going in the Oakland Athletics pile. It's a little odd that Cobb is featured as an A, but I can't argue with the card.
Base Short print:
318. Hank Aaron - Braves
Our first short print - and it's a great short print for Derek H.! Nothing like getting a gorgeous card of Hammerin' Hank. So far, the Braves have done fairly well in the break - but this card is clearly the best one in their pile at the moment.
Regular mini:
273. Chad Billingsley - Dodgers
You know what, for a moment I thought I wasn't going to pull a Dodgers card in this pack. That obviously shouldn't have been a worry - here's the fifth Dodger card (out of six total packs).
Checklist 4 of 4

I won't complain six packs in, but let's start pulling some Yanks!
