Whenever I host a group break, I always hope the hits and other "good" cards get spread out amongst a number of different participants. No one likes walking away with nothing for their hard earned money, even if that is sometimes the nature of a group break (or any baseball card buying for that matter). Well, I've got good news on that front - this pack contains a card seeded 1:75 packs, which basically means it's an extra hit (or even better) and it went to a team that up until this pack really didn't have much in the way of cool cards (a few base and a single mini card).
Box 2 - Pack 2:
5. Tris Speaker - Red Sox
11. Zack Greinke - Brewers
51. Alex Rodriguez - Yankees
115. Jeremy Jeffress - Royals
187. Lance Berkman - Cardinals
199. James Shields - Rays
284. Jed Lowrie - Red Sox
296. Ty Cobb - Athletics
Future Stars:
FS12. Neftali Feliz - Rangers
Leather mini:
153. Delmon Young - Twins (#ed 07/10)
The leather minis are pretty cool - they have a leathery-like texture to them (hence the name). As I mentioned at the top of the post, these cards are seeded 1:75 packs so we beat the odds here in this group break by getting one!

That's a beauty! Are the "leather" cards like the pigskins in Magic and just a little texture-y? -Andy
ReplyDeleteI didn't buy any Magic, so I can't say for sure if they are the same. I can, however, report that the cards are textured and do indeed feel a bit like leather.
