Delivery Time! Something Wicked Comes my Way!

In most walks of life, I wouldn't want something wicked to cross my path.  However, in the baseball card world, the one and only Wicked Ortega (from My Past Time...I Love It) is welcome anytime!  Wicked and swapped some National Chicle cards - plus a few cards from our favorite respective teams.

First, the cards that started the trade:
2010 Topps National Chicle:

Wicked sent me 11 cards off my want list for the set.  Now that I have the newest addition safely tucked away in my binder, I only need the following cards from the set (1, 3, 4, 61, 84, 95, 127, 129, 191, 199, 208, 218, 234, 235, 238, 240, 243, 266, 276, 278, 281, 283, 284, 285, 286, 287, 288, 292, 293, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 302, 303, 304, 306, 308, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315, 317, 319, 320, 321, 323, 324, 325, 327, 328, 330).  Unfortunately, most of those are short prints from a set that most people didn't buy...so this set may end up on my want list for a long, long time!

2001 Topps Archives:

Here's a set that I've never opened a pack of...though there is a really good chance that won't be true after my next group break (just sayin' - stay tuned for details).  The set is really, really nice though - and while I probably have most of the Reds now thanks to Wicked, I am still excited to bust a box for the break.

2002 Topps Archives:

Based in the cards that Wicked sent me, the '01 Archives set seems to celebrate the early couple of decades for Topps while the '02 set seems to focus on Topps' more modern library.  I think I like the '01 set better simply because I don't own many original cards from that era.  Of course, the '64 reprint of Vada Pinson in the 2002 set does seem to throw my theory for a bit of a loop...

2003 Topps Fan Favorites:

I LOVE this set.  It's called fan favorites for a reason - and if I ever can find an affordable box of this stuff, I would love to bust a box for myself.  The Sabo card is especially nice since he was one of my all-time favorite players (and truth be told, I'm still a sucker for any card featuring Spuds).

Thanks for the great cards Wicked!  And, as always, if anyone else would like to trade - check out my want list and make an offer!
