Alright, here's a fun little challenge for you on a Friday:
Can you find a WORSE (official) music video than Friday by Rebecca Black?
Seriously, watch this (if you can take it):
That's right, the gauntlett has been thrown down. Hard. Can you pick it up and beat my awful video choice? I look forward to a weekend of awful videos.

I think this counts as an official music video.

It would be a toss up for me between "Friday" and "Lemme Smang It"
I'm dating myself, but what about Hey Mickey by Tony Basil?
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty bad:

Dude, gotta go back to the past. Current vids got nothin' on the past:
ReplyDelete"Escalator of Life" - Robert Hazard
"Total Eclipse of the Heart" - Bonnie Tyler
are examples,
but the worst...THE WORST...
"Rock Me Tonight" - Billy Squier

There was a song that came out in the late '90s/early aughts by Brittney Cleary called IM Me, and it was all about AOL-style chatting (before texting was big). I can find traces of the song's existence now, but the video is nowhere to be seen. Cleary ended up with a song on the great (if you like that style) Mean Girls soundtrack.
ReplyDeleteYour video has disappeared, but that's alright.

Ryan: you have just made me lose all interest in anything Deion Sanders.
ReplyDeletecarlsonjok and smed: 1980s videos are a world of their own. I think everyone wanted some choreographed story-telling movie-like music video to keep up with Michael Jackson (impossible if you ask me). Anything from that era is both bad and great at the same time. But those remind me of the Right Now music video from Van Halen. Don't know why, because I really like that video.
Check mate...

Joe: that music video isn't so bad. Can't stand the music, though!
