Group Break 7: The At Least the Work Day is Done on the East Coast Edition (2 Packs of Bazooka - With a Hit!)

In a group break that should produce a minimum of total hits, it's not surprising that we found one today (especially considering all the packs that were busted so far today).  What is a bit surprising, however, is that the second hit came from the same box as the first hit of the break - 2006 Bazooka.  At this point, we've found two of the three promised hits in Bazooka, so there ought to be plenty of other cool stuff in the other boxes in the upcoming days!

2006 Bazooka:
Packs 5 & 6:

27.  Brad Radke - Twins
32.  Khalil Greene - Padres
33.  Brian Roberts - Orioles

36.  Bob Wickman - Indians
52.  Mark Mulder - Cardinals
82.  Jhonny Peralta - Indians
91.  Shawn Green - Diamondbacks
109.  Zach Duke - Pirates
173.  Scott Rolen - Cardinals
186.  Chase Utley - Phillies
211.  Tom Gorzelanny - Pirates

15 of 55.  Sticker:  Matsui (Yankees), Ichiro (Mariners), Iguchi (White Sox), Utley (Phillies)

Parallels:

158.  Gold chunk:  Tom Glavine - Mets

35.  Blue:  Mike Mussina - Yankees

49.  Blue:  Willy Taveras - Astros

Bazooka Rewind Relic:
BR-MR.  Manny Ramirez - Red Sox

That's a decent relic for the Bazooka box, I'm fairly certain that Manny is one of the bigger names in the set.  I couldn't find which "group" he belonged to though, so I don't know the specific odds of pulling this card.  Even so, it's a nice pick-up for the Red Sox (and by extension, Matthew)!

  1. I completely agree that Matsui, Iguchi, and Ichiro belong together. But how does Utley fit into that group?
