Group Break 7: It Must Be Three Pack Day! (Bazooka Edition)

Turning my attention back to the Bazooka box (which still has a lot of packs left), let's rip open three more.

2006 Topps Bazooka:
Packs 11, 12, & 13

35.  Mike Mussina - Yankees
37.  Dmitri Young - Tigers
51.  Aaron Boone - Indians

58.  Felipe Lopez - Reds
77.  Jorge Cantu - Rays
87.  Jason Schmidt - Giants
99.  Craig Biggio - Astros
103.  Aramis Ramirez - Cubs
133.  Chone Figgins - Angels
138.  Michael Young - Rangers
151.  Carlos Lee - Brewers
159.  Jeff Kent - Dodgers
165.  Nick Johnson - Nationals
183.  Shannon Stewart - Twins

185.  Carl Pavano - Yankees

Parallels:

48.  Gold Chunk:  Cliff Floyd - Mets
183.  Gold Chunk:  Shannon Stewart - Twins

That's two Shannon Stewart cards in the three packs...at least the Twins are bolstering their numbers a bit!
174.  Blue:  Jose Vidro - Nationals
191.  Blue:  Garrett Anderson - Angels
217.  Blue:  Jose Bautista - Pirates

Stickers:
12 of 55.  Morse (Mariners), Cameron (Padres), Piazza (Mets), Sweeney (Royals)
28 of 55.  Reyes (Mets), Lopez (Reds), Furcal (Dodgers), Peralta (Indians)
31 of 55.  Burrell (Phillies), Baldelli (Rays), Green (Diamondbacks), Bay (Pirates)

And, if you didn't catch the fact that there were only two gold chunk parallels...we found the third (and last promised) hit of the box!

Relic:

BBL-JD.  Bazooka Blast:  Johnny Damon - Yankees

A big congratulations to the Yankees on a fairly nice little relic.  The Bazooka relics are obviously kid inspired but even so, I like 'em for the most part!  I also like the fact that we got some pretty decent names too - you don't see any David DeJesus relics out of our Bazooka box (Gypsy Queen, I'm looking at you)!
