It's really weird to think that in 2002 people would be excited to buy packs with Barry Bonds' mug all over it. It's amazing how far (and how quickly) Bonds fell from grace.

Even if I was collecting in 2002, I wouldn't have liked to get any pack with Bonds on it. He is the main reason I didn't become a Pirate fan as a kid. Wow, my blog could be called Cards of the Caribbean if Bonds had gone somewhere else. Ah the mysteries of what might have been.
