Just think, yesterday you were eating hamburgers and hot dogs hot off the grill. Today, you are slaving away behind a pile of papers. Me? I'm planning lessons for next semester's Calculus class that I'm teaching... Let's escape work though for a moment or two and take a gander at another couple of packs.
2003 Fleer Showcase:
Packs 5 & 6 (Lumber):
6. Hideo Nomo - Dodgers
8. J.D. Drew - Cardinals
9. Josh Phelps - Blue Jays
20. Todd Helton - Rockies
23. Rodrigo Lopez - Orioles
It's hard to believe that this is only the second Oriole card of the group break!
24. Gary Sheffield - Braves
26. Nomar Garciaparra - Red Sox
30. Chipper Jones - Braves
31. Alex Rodriguez - Rangers
128. Legacy Parallel: Freddy Sanchez - Red Sox (#ed 033/150)
That's a nice little hit for the Red Sox! A card numbered out of something low like 150 is fairly rare for my group breaks! To think it's a pretty good player, well, that's extra good (unlike the serially-numbered Reds scrub we pulled a few packs ago)!
