Each box of Lineage promises two autographs and one relic - I can say (without spoiling too much) that we found at least one of those in the next two packs!
Box 1 - Pack 3:
82. Ike Davis - Mets
91. Brent Morel - White Sox
99. Honus Wagner - Pirates
185. Ian Kinsler - Rangers
193. Joe Morgan - Astros
200. Tom Seaver - Mets
23. Diamond Anniversary: Carlos Zambrano - Cubs
Zambrano might be retiring from the Cubs but this is still a nice card for Tim G. who claimed both Chicago teams.
52A-DD. 1952 Autographs: David DeJesus - Athletics
Alright, a DeJesus autograph (note: sarcasm). Actually, although it seems like I always pull DeJesus autos now, this is a really nice card (even if it is a sticker auto). The 1952 autos, even the most common ones, are seeded 1:38 at worst (other tiers are 1:131, 1:397, and 1:327). Topps doesn't say who is in which tier, but I've got to believe that DeJesus is in the most common tier - even so, this is basically a one-in-two-box pull so that's nice. Also nice, for me at least, is that Robert claimed a bunch of teams so that all the teams would be taken - and one such team was the Athletics. I like when good deeds get rewarded which is what happened here!
Checklist 2 of 4
Box 1 - Pack 4:
3. Jimmie Foxx - Athletics
49. Matt Kemp - Dodgers
94. John Smoltz - Braves
145. Adrian Gonzalez - Red Sox
162. Brandon Belt - Giants
173. Adam Dunn - White Sox
184. Josh Hamilton - Rangers
TCS20. Cloth Sticker: David Wright - Mets
As many of my loyal readers know, I'm a big fan of sets like the late 90s Upper Deck Collector's Choice. One of the big draws of some of those sets were the stickers. As such, I'm happy to see sticker make a comeback (and these are really nice, full-size stickers) in the Lineage set. The only disappointing thing about the stickers? They are seeded 1:12 packs meaning you are unlikely to get duplicates - I always liked one for my binder undamaged and then others that I could stick on things!
