Here are two of the final four packs from the UD Decades box. After opening these two packs, there will be four remaining packs in the Flair box and 2 remaining packs in each of the other four boxes. Let's see how the group break concludes, shall we?
Pack 21:
55. Lou Brock - Cardinals
81. Mike Schmidt - Phillies
98. Robin Yount - Brewers
124. Al Kaline - Tigers
150. Reggie Jackson - Athletics
Wow, that's a powerful line-up of players for a single pack! I could easily justify any one of those guys getting the pack win...but since I have to choose exactly one team as a winner, I'll give this one to the Brewers since I think I like the Yount card best of all. In case you were wondering, my second choice (and it was an extremely close choice) would have been Lou Brock...
Pack 22:
3. Bobby Grich - Angels
29. Amos Otis - Royals
65. Manny Mota - Dodgers
132. George Foster - Reds
158. Tom Seaver - Reds
Although I'd normally give a pack win to Tom Seaver (or maybe George Foster) the Royals are squeezing out (pun intended) a surprising win for having a player featured bunting on the card! Even more amusing, it's an American League player bunting - something that the AL usually frowns upon (along with strategy). Congrats Kansas City for showing the rest of the AL how it's done...(oh wait, maybe that's why other teams in the AL don't bunt).

Good to see the pics of the players. I like the way the blog is organised.

Well, that is definitely not a rookie picture of Yount. He was a clean-shaven teen in 1974...that looks like an early-mid eighties picture.
