Group Break: 2000 Fleer Tradition - Packs 7 and 8

Two more packs for tonight.

2000 Fleer Tradition:
Pack 7:
 7.  AL League Leader Wins:  Martinez (Red Sox), Colon (Indians), Mussina (Orioles)
78.  Steve Cox / Alex Sanchez - Rays
102.  Alex Ochoa - Brewers
132.  Jose Lima - Astros
143.  Paul Konerko - White Sox
162.  Houston Astros - Astros
170.  Jay Buhner - Mariners
410.  Tom Goodwin - Rockies
430.  Dan Wilson - Mariners
3 of 15 WW.  Who to Watch:  Wilton Veras - Red Sox

The Red Sox earn their first pack win with the die-cut insert plus the partial share of the AL League Leader card.

Pack 8:
92.  Randy Velarde - Athletics
107.  Mike Lieberthal - Phillies
141.  Ken Hill - Angels
148.  Armando Benitez - Mets
153.  Edgar Martinez - Mariners
172.  Andruw Jones - Braves
183.  Mo Vaughn - Angels
295.  Billy Wagner - Astros
362.  Marty Cordova - Twins
6 of 15 D.  Dividends:  Frank Thomas - White Sox

The fun thing about the Fleer Tradition packs is that there are plenty of cards per pack.  The bad thing is that each pack (usually) has fewer stars in it which makes picking a pack winner a bit tougher.  In this case, the Dividends insert card carries the White Sox to their first pack victory - and with that, exactly half of the 30 MLB teams have at least one pack win in the group break already!  That's a pretty good distribution that hopefully makes all of the participants happy!

Also, I should mention that if anyone doesn't want their share of the Fleer Tradition cards - I'd be happy to keep them.  That's a set that I want to finish for myself so every little bit would help!

  1. I am sorry. I can't figure out how to pay you on paypal. My email is tgraham2777@gmail.com. If you could email me, as I can't open outlook to find your email to put into paypal, then I will. Sorry for the delay. I like the sweet semi-elder box in the break. Fun stuff.
