Group Break: 2000 Fleer Tradition - Packs 27, 28, and 29

The group break is almost over...once more let's give a big thanks to the group break sponsor:

Here we go!

Pack 27:
Derek Bell - Mets
Brad Fullmer - Nationals
Todd Walker - Twins
Sandy Alomar, Jr. - Indians
10 of 15 WW:   Who to Watch:  Randy Wolf - Phillies

McGwire (Cardinals), Williams (Diamondbacks), Sosa (Cubs)
Kenny Lofton - Indians
Tony Armas Jr. / Peter Bergeron - Nationals
Benito Santiago - Cubs
Orlando Hernandez - Yankees
Brewers team - Brewers

Another Who to Watch insert - I hope you guys like die cut cards!  I don't think there's a single Red (or Athletic) in that set so I won't be getting any of those...  Pack win goes to the Phillies I guess since they had the die cut.

Pack 28:
Russell Branyan / Danny Peoples - Indians
Ismael Valdes - Cubs
Manny Ramirez - Indians

Joe Nathan / Wilson Delgado - Giants
Travis Lee - Diamondbacks
Martinez (Red Sox), Cone (Yankees), Mussina (Orioles)
Rico Brogna - Phillies
Domingo Guzman / Wiki Gonzalez - Padres
Gary DiSarcina - Angels
Expos team - Expos

Uhm, who to pick as a winner here?  I guess the Manny card is the best of the bunch (seeing how the leader card has three players from three different teams).  Combine Manny with the prospect card and you've got a pack winner in Cleveland.

Pack 29:
Miguel Tejada - Athletics
Bobby Abreu - Phillies
Diamondbacks team - Diamondbacks
Sammy Sosa - Cubs
Jose Rosado - Royals
Jim Parque - White Sox
Carl Pavano - Expos
Jose Offerman - Red Sox
Alfonso Soriano / D'Angelo Jimenez - Yankees

Dmitri Young - Reds

I guess this one goes to the Yankees - one of the few team prospects cards in the set where one of the guys actually amounted to something!
