After we open these three Tradition packs, there will be two packs of Upper Decades opened still tonight. After that is done, there will be exactly four packs remaining from each of the five boxes! It's hard to believe that the group break is wrapping up already...but that's what happens when I don't waste much time in opening packs!

#1: The Ripken Collection: Rookie of the Year
The Ripken Collection cards are seeded 1:30 packs (or basically one per box). I suppose it's possible that we pull a second one but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen. As for this one, according to the card the design is based on the 1954 Fleer Ted Williams set. I don't know anything about that set so I'll take Fleer's word for it. Still, a cool card for the Orioles - and a pack win to boot!

For some reason, I really like the Larry Walker card - maybe it's the purple background which looks really good with the Rockies logo and colors... Anyhow, as much as I like the card it's hard to choose that over the Frank Thomas insert...then again, I've opened a lot of these Tradition packs and the Dividend cards aren't really interesting me much anymore. Pack win: Rockies!
