I previewed the group break by showing one pack from the Genuine box already. Here are the next two packs...let me know what you think of the set since I don't think I've ever seen anyone feature these cards on the blogs before!
Pack 2:
72. Javier Vazquez - Expos
83. Cristian Guzman - Twins
88. Phil Nevin - Padres
90. Barry Zito - Athletics
126. Upside Prospects: Nate Field - Roaysl #0332/2002
The Upside Prospects are numbered out of 2002 - so Mr. Field's becomes the first serially numbered card of the break...and in the process lands the Kansas City Royals their second pack win already!
Pack 3:
1. Alex Rodriguez - Mariners
10. Johnny Damon - Red Sox
44. Roberto Alomar - Mets
Relic: Names of the Game: Mike Piazza - Mets
The Names of the Game relics are seeded 1:24 packs making this a box hit! Of course, relics/autos are seeded 1:4.5 packs overall so there should be plenty more hits in the box before all is said and done. For now though, this is an easy pack to give to the Mets...not only the relic but also a third of all the base cards.
PS: One more thing: To keep the suspense going a bit more, I won't announce hits in the post title any more since I know some of you prefer the surprise at the end of the post!
