As the title says, here are two of the final four Donruss Team Heroes packs.
Pack 1:
Rey Sanchez - Red Sox
Trey Hodges - Braves
Tom Glavine - Braves
Odalis Perez - Dodgers
Adam Pettyjohn - Tigers
Bud Smith - Phillies
Dave Roberts - Dodgers
Eric Chavez - Athletics
Dan Wilson - Mariners
Chan Ho Park - Rangers
Stan Musial - Cardinals
Eric Davis - Reds
Glossy parallel: Jarrod Washburn - Angels
After the excitement of the last few packs, the Donruss Team Heroes box is a "back to basics" kind of pack rip. However, that was the main reason I included the product in the set - lots of cards for all the teams, not just the "usual suspects." I like the Eric Davis card quite a bit, but I'll give the pack win to the Angels since they landed their second parallel card of the break.
Pack 2:
Frank Thomas - White Sox
Jay Gibbons - Orioles
Alexis Gomez - Royals
Barry Larkin - Reds
Tom Shearn - Astros
Erick Almonte - Yankees
Ben Sheets - Brewers
Kip Wells - Pirates
Brandon Backe - Rays
Orlando Hudson - Blue Jays
Duke Snider - Dodgers
Roberto Clemente - Pirates
Glossy parallel: Mark Prior - Cubs
Another decent pack - but great in my book thanks to the Barry Larkin card (a new one for my collection). Even with the Larkin, I have to give the pack win to the Pirates - the Clemente card is simply too nice (plus the extra base card of Kip Wells). Congrats Pittsburgh!
