Continuing with the group break, here are four more packs of 1998 Flair Showcase (and another thanks to our group break sponsor - Baseball Card Exchange)!
Pack 8:
22. Flair - Showtime: Tony Clark - Tigers
89. Flair - Showdown: Jim Thome - Indians
14. Style - Showstopper: Derek Jeter - Yankees
107. Grace - Showstopper: David Cone - Yankees
119. Showcase - Showtime: Mike Lieberthal - Phillies (#1537/2000)
Woah, pack 8 was packin' the goods. The David Cone Grace Showstopper card is seeded 1:10 packs making that a nice pick-up for the Yankees (along with the Jeter of course). However, the real prize of the pack was the Lieberthal Showcase card, our first Showcase card from the box!

38. Flair - Showstopper: Jeff Bagwell - Astros
95. Style - Showdown - Jeff King - Royals
16. Grace - Showdown - Livan Hernandez - Marlins
83. Grace - Showtime - Garret Anderson - Angels
Another pair of Grace parallels. The Livan card is seeded 1:16 packs while the the Anderson is seeded 1:6 packs (despite both cards being of the Grace parallel variety). I tried to type up a quick guide to understanding the way the Showcase cards were distributed but I quickly realized that I would probably need to open the entire box (and maybe a second and third box) in order to understand the madness!

57. Flair - Showstopper: Randy Johnson - Mariners
62. Flair - Showdown: Joe Carter - Orioles
17. Style - Showstopper: Mike Piazza - Dodgers
23. Grace - Showdown: Albert Belle - White Sox
Through the first three packs, we've done pretty well pulling various parallel versions of cards. The Belle is seeded 1:16 times while the Piazza is seeded 1:3 packs.

70. Flair - Showdown: Matt Stairs - Athletics
97. Flair - Showpiece: Mark Grudzielanek - Expos
9. Style - Showstopper: Mark McGwire - Cardinals
74. Legacy Collection: Carlos Delgado - Blue Jays #085 of 100
Well, well, well, another nice bunch of parallels! The Grudzielanek is the most difficult of the Flair parallels (seeded 1:2 packs). The McGwire is seeded 1:3 packs. And the Legacy Collection is most difficult of ALL the inserts to find in the set! Congrats to the Blue Jays (and NYHitman) on landing that one!
