Although Barry Larkin's rookie cards are all considered to be from 1987, he did appear on a card from 1986! Like all Sportflic releases, you either love 'em or hate 'em. As for me, I guess I have to love the card since it's the "first" Larkin that I own. In fact, I don't know of any earlier Barry Larkin cards in existence (at least in terms of licensed cards). The one downside to the card is the huge block of itty-bitty tiny text on the back of the card. The information is good, I just wish the font would have been larger - maybe the logos at the bottom could have been printed at 50% size instead!
