Good morning - and welcome to another work week. Hopefully you didn't eat too many eggs yesterday - that might make for a long day if you did. Either way, here's something to soothe the stomach - a trio of packs from the 2002 Flair box.
Pack 4:
49. Kerry Wood - Cubs
58. Jason Kendall - Pirates
73. Barry Bonds - Giants
74. Matt Williams - Diamondbacks
98. Tony Clark - Red Sox
That pack contained the first Pirates card of the break (and the first solo Giants card of the break as well)! Now only the Brewers are completely shutout in the break (but it's still early of course)!
Pack 5:
21. Raul Mondesi - Blue Jays
23. Pedro Martinez - Red Sox
35. Brandon Inge - Tigers
38. Ben Grieve - Rays
61. Mike Mussina - Yankees
Ho hum. Not much to say about this pack - it wasn't terrible but it wasn't awesome either.
Pack 6:
10. John Olerud - Mariners
12. Mark Grace - Diamondbacks
31. Mike Piazza - Mets
78. Tino Martinez - Cardinals
96. Larry Walker - Rockies
As I said at the top of the post, these three packs should help soothe your stomach. There wasn't anything to get overly worked up or excited about - nor was there anything terrible to really sour your stomach. If, however, you are ready for some excitement, I invite you to go back and check out yesterday's posts as we hit a really nice serially numbered relic card for one team and a pretty sweet die-cut card for another team. Go check those out if you get the chance (and missed 'em yesterday)!
