Welcome back! Let's give another shout out to the group break sponsor - Atlanta Sports Cards!
Second, I'd like to remind you that I'm planning on chasing all of the minis PLUS the relics (and as many of the autos as I can get my hands on)! As such, if you have any for trade, let me know!
Now, onto the next 6 packs!
Box #5:
Pack 13:
Historical Turning Points: The Reformation
Base SP: 312. Anibal Sanchez - Marlins
Black border mini: 147. Tsyoshi Nishioka - Twins
Pack 14:
Baseball Sketch: 12. Justin Verlander - Tigers
Base SP: 347. Matt Garza - Cubs
A&G back mini: 134. David Freese - Cardinals
Pack 15:
What's in a Name: 29. Nolan Ryan - Rangers
Reg. mini: 39. Brad Peacock - Athletics
Framed relic: Phil Pfister - (strong man)
Wow, another one of the non-baseball relics. I am beginning to wonder whether we either got a "hot case" or that the non-baseball relics aren't short printed. Either way, it's the unique relics like this one that make Ginter so special to me!
Pack 16:
Baseball Sketch: 3. Ichiro - Mariners
Base SP: 315. Dellin Betances - Yankees
Man's Best Friend: Boxer
Pack 17:
What's in a Name: 5. Troy Tulowitzki - Rockies
Reg. mini short print: 315. Dellin Betances - Yankees
That's two packs in a row with a Betances short print (one regular sized and one mini sized)!
Pack 18:
Building: Woolworth Building
Base SP: 319. Adam Wainwright - Cardinals
A&G back mini: Fatal1ty (gamer)
I'm not sure who is excited to get the Fatal1ty guy's card (maybe his mom?). Even so, it will be randomized with the rest of the non-baseball cards at the end of the break.
No way his mom is excited about him being on a baseball card. He's 30 and still lives at home. Highlights of the week: taking out the trash and the new Gamer magazine coming in the mail. Highlight of the year: Comic-Con! YEAH!
