The 1999 Pacific Paramount set features a script font for the player's name on the front of the card (a feature that I normally don't care for). However, with this design it actually works - and the ribbon effect with team colors is a nice touch as well. On the back of the card, a second (different) photo sits next to a single season's worth of statistics. There is also a small blurb (which I appreciate) and an offset, faded team logo (which I also like). All told, Pacific managed to create a unique card without a lot of bells and whistles (a rarity for the brand)!

Hey, I have that one! Yeah, that year was a nice set, with some pretty nice inserts too, but the base also looked pretty nice. MOAR LARKIN PLZ
