The moment you've all been waiting for is finally upon us.
Alright, maybe you haven't been waiting for it - but I have...and that's got to count for something.
The last two packs out of my 1999 Fleer Ultra box.
Pack 23:
18. Shane Reynolds
35. David Wells
54. Robin Ventura
79. Brian Anderson
89. Marty Cordova
123. Armando Benitez
149. Brad Radke
170. Rickey Henderson
245. Prospect: Josh Booty
137G. Gold Medallion: Neifi Perez
As usual, the Gold Medallion is available for trade. Once the box is fully busted and collated (and combined with the few 1999 Ultra cards that I already had in my collection I'll post a full trade bait post).
Pack 24:
3. John Wetteland
38. Antonio Osuna
59. Tony Gwynn
62. Jaret Wright
65. Mike Piazza
95. Jim Thome
142. Gary Sheffield
179. Larry Walker
194. Robb Nen
12G. Gold Medallion: Mark Langston
And the final pack of the box is a.........bust. Oh well, they can't all be awesome packs. Despite ending on a bit of a down note, the box as a whole was a lot of fun to open. Mostly, it's a product that relies on the beautiful photography with just a few inserts to keep things interesting. If only Fleer had ditched the short print idea, this might have been a perfect set!
