Did You Know I Write for Yahoo! Now Too?

As my post title suggests, I have been accepted as a Yahoo! contributor.  I'm not exactly sure how prestigious and/or difficult it is to be able to "work" for Yahoo!, but I managed to do it so it can't that hard.  You would be sure to agree with me if you've read much of my writing here at Nachos Grande.

Anyhow, to date I've posted exactly two entries - both on the Cincinnati Reds:
Time to Panic in Cincinnati Reds Country?
and
Why Joey Votto Should Bat Second for the Cincinnati Reds

You'll notice that both of my articles take a bit more of a confrontational tone...certainly more so than most of what I post here at Nachos Grande.  One of the things that Yahoo! was looking for when I applied was for someone who would pick a certain side or angle to a story and then run with it.  So far, so good for me!  If things continue to progress, there is a small chance that I might be able to fund my baseball card habit just from the income I get from Yahoo! page views.  It's amazing how big Yahoo! really is - within a day I'll get over 1000 page views on a single article, and that's with exactly zero followers (or whatever Yahoo!'s equivalent is).

Although I'm excited about the opportunity at Yahoo!, I won't be giving up my blog here.  Instead, I look at my Yahoo! writing as a different assignment of sorts - basically it's all Reds, all the time over there.  Here at Nachos Grande you get a lot of Reds stuff, but at lot of other stuff too!
