My First Blog "Sale"!

Earlier today, I posted a few various items (including some complete sets) that I have available for sale.  Today's post is actually the second such post that I've made lately - the first resulted in me managing to sell my 2012 Topps Allen & Ginter base set in exchange for some cash plus a few Barry Larkin cards to blog reader Craig.

Craig sent me eight Larkins - many of which I already owned but there were a couple of new ones (which is always appreciated)!  Out of the eight, here are my four favorites (in reverse order):

#4:

I've always liked the 1990 Upper Deck set.  As a kid, I never got my hands on the '89 Upper Deck cards until the mid 90s...but I did get a pack or two of the '90 set and so it is the 1990 Upper Deck set that I prefer.

#3:

I must not have bought a single pack of 1995 Upper Deck because this card design doesn't ring any bells to me.  I'm amused by my Barry Larkin Collection - this '95 UD card means I'll now have at least 22 different Larkin cards from 1995.  Why is this amusing?  I believe '95 is the year that I bought the fewest amount of cards from 1990 - the present day!

#2:

Anyone who has read my blog for any length of time knows that I love the Upper Deck Collector's Choice line.  This card is a favorite - love it!

#1:

Ok, disclaimer:  This card is ugly!  However, I know for sure that this is a new card for my collection which makes it the automatic number one card in the trade!

Thanks for the purchase (and for the Larkin cards) Craig!  As usual, if anyone else would like to trade, check out my want list and make an offer!
