Topps followed up their 1988 Topps Big set with a similar set in 1989. The design is quite similar to the previous year's; only the head shot is now on the opposite side of the action shot. That said, if I had to choose between one or the other, I'd take the 1988 set over the '89 edition. Quite honestly, I wouldn't choose either of the Topps Big sets over pretty much any "normal sized" cards because the extra girth on the Topps Big cards annoy me that much! Despite my annoyed state of mind, I'm still happy to have another card to add to my collection.
