Beginning the 2013 Topps Series 2 Box...

Last night, I finished off the 2012 Archives box - so now it's time to turn our attention to the 2013 Topps Series 2 box.  There are plenty of cool cards in the set, let's hope we get a few!

I gotta love the Bench, though I'm growing tired of the psychedelic tombstone design Topps.  The Chase it Down cards are kind of cool in concept, though they feel like they belong in Gypsy Queen.

TE-20.  The Elite:  Lou Gehrig - Yankees

When I first opened the pack, I thought we found a relic given how thick "The Elite" cards are...I have to say, the Elite seem more like a failed "high end" base card, they are really, really nice.  A great pull for the Yankees if you ask me.

I scanned the ad card because "why not."  As for the Million Dollar Chase card, it'll go out in someone's pile as part of their group break loot.
