A Tradition of Group Break Excellence.

This morning, I took a big bite (so to speak) out of the 1993 Upper Deck box by opening up five of the jumbo packs.  We continue the theme of "lots of cards" with the current post - 2004 Fleer Tradition.

Pack 8:
Carlos Zambrano - Cubs
Scott Hatteberg - Athletics
Ron Belliard - Rockies
Mike Matheny - Cardinals

Jason Varitek - Red Sox
Jose Cruz - Giants
J.D. Drew - Cardinals
Mike Piazza - Mets

Chris Reitsma - Reds
Jose Vidro - Expos

Three of the 10 players in the pack were catchers, that seemed a bit high for your typical pack!

Pack 9:
Pokey Reese - Pirates
Pete LaForest - Rays
Jason Kendall - Pirates
Victor Martinez - Indians
Vladimir Guerrero - Expos
Barry Larkin - Reds
Woooo!

Tony Batista - Orioles
Jeriome Robertson - Astros
Laynce Nix - Rangers
489.  J. Duncan, P. Redman, C. Brazell - Mets

The Mets prospect card is part of the Trio Prospects subset which is seeded 1:3 packs.

Pack 10:
Marcus Giles - Braves
Reggie Sanders - Pirates
Vernon Wells - Blue Jays
Ron Calloway - Expos
Giants Leaders
J.T. Snow - Giants
Kip Wells - Pirates
Dodgers Leaders

Matt Morris - Cardinals
462.  Josh Beckett - Marlins

The Beckett card is part of the Award Winners short print subset (seeded 1:9 packs).  Because of all the short prints, I think trying to put together the '04 Fleer Heritage set would be nothing short of a nightmare.
