Today's portion of the countdown features both the Twins and the Indians (plus the Giants in the middle). The thing of note is that both the Twins and Indians use the same "C" design that the Cincinnati Reds use. Now to the countdown...
#24: Rocky Colavito
Rocky has one of the best names for a fighter that I've ever heard. Unfortunately, he ended up an outfielder rather than a brawler - and in terms of outfielder names, I don't think his holds a candle to the likes of Coco Crisp.
#23: Juan Marichal
This is a great shot - if there were a few clouds in the sky (rather than a grey sky) this could easily have been a top 20 card. As it is, it almost made the cut anyhow!
#22: Rod Carew
I believe this is in the old Yankee Stadium but I could be way off. Either way, I like the no batting glove look (even if it is a posed shot). I also like how the colors really pop in this one. Kudos Upper Deck.
