Finishing Off the Weekend: 1995 Flair Packs

It's hard to believe another work week is right around the corner.  Where did the weekend go?!

Let's dip back into the Flair box tonight and class up the evening a bit.

Pack 07:
102.  Roberto Kelly - Braves
110.  Mark Wohlers - Braves
111.  Jim Bullinger - Cubs
119.  Bret Boone - Reds
135.  Eric Young - Rockies
150.  Billy Ashley - Dodgers
168.  Rondell White - Expos
176.  Toby Borland - Phillies

Quite the mustache Mr. Borland.
198.  Andy Ashby - Padres

A decent pack for the Braves, but ultimately a rather underwhelming selection of players.  Let's hope Pack 08 is better!

Pack 08:
3.  Leo Gomez - Orioles
11.  Scott Cooper - Red Sox
18.  Chuck Finley - Angels

31.  Jason Grimsley - Indians
38.  Cecil Fielder - Tigers
51.  Cal Eldred - Brewers
87.  Jeff Frye - Rangers
95.  Joe Carter - Blue Jays
96.  Tony Castillo - Blue Jays

I went with the mustache in the previous pack, might as well follow that up with a mullet in this pack.  Once again a rather dull pack in terms of players - though I happy to see a bunch of different teams get cards at least!  In fact, I can now report that every single team has at least three cards to their name.  The current low achievers?  The Orioles (?!), Brewers, and Rangers (?!) with three cards each.  I have a feeling both the Orioles and Rangers won't end up in the bottom three...if they do, I'll be shocked as both of those teams are usually quite well represented.  It's still early in the break - hang in there if you happen to have one of the low achieving teams!

  1. Yeah another Oriole. Ooh and another Expo. Brewers and Rangers neck and neck (or is that ankle and ankle) with the O's for bottom of the barrel?

  2. Scott Cooper maybe the worst player to ever make an all star team

  3. Awesome! I mentioned on an earlier post that I only needed 2 cards from this set including inserts. Well that Eric Young is 1 of the 2. Now if you could only pull the Wave of the Future Jason Bates card I can put this entire brand to bed.

  4. Cooper is probably not the worst player to make an All Star team. But he is probably the worst one to make two.
