Ryan, from "O" No!!! Another Orioles Blog, recent offered up a bunch of trade bait including some 2014 Topps Allen & Ginter's minis. I'm still in need of a ton of minis from this year's set so I immediately claimed what I could - which ended up being a pair of minis!
First, a rather interesting Jesse James mini from the Outlaws, Bandits, and All-Around Ne'er Do Wells set.
I think "Ne'er Do Wells" is criminally underused in today's baseball card markets... The back of the card describes James as a charismatic robber of banks, trains, and stagecoaches. Seems like a swell guy.
The other mini was a "World's Deadliest Predators" card of the Black Eagle.
The Black Eagle makes it home in tropical Asia and feasts on squirrels, birds, and even nested eggs.
