Barry Larkin
Year: 1994
Brand: Kraft Singles Superstars
Card number: 26
The Kraft Singles cards are among my favorite of the mid-90s oddball releases. I haven't had the guts to actually pull the tab and "ruin" my card - but I am sure that if I had gotten one of these cards as a kid I would have set it up in no time! Quite frankly, the hobby needs more of that fun aspect...after all, it's what draws in future collectors! The one thing the hobby doesn't need though is little purple triangles in the corners of the front image. Seriously...who green-lighted that design idea?! Otherwise, this is a pretty cool card (and it's better in design than the 1995 Kraft set).
