2015 Topps Allen & Ginter: Box 2 - Packs 17 - 20 (The World Beneath Our Feet)

I can spoil it for you right now, there is no hit in this group of packs.  That does mean that the final post for Box #2 better contain a hit...but before we get to that, we need to take a peek at this round of packs!

Box 2:
Packs 17 - 20:

As usual, we begin with a quick discussion of short prints - three of the four packs had one which brings our total to 16 through 20 packs!  I went with a scan of Shin-Soo Choo just because he looks so darn happy in that picture!

Speaking of being happy, I was happy to land my first A World Beneath our Feet mini card!

The Goliath Beetle is said to grow over 4 inches in length but luckily for those scared of insects you probably won't run into such a creature unless you wander the jungles of Africa.  And seriously, if you are scared of bugs what are you doing wandering around in jungles anyways?!

My other three minis included two regular back minis (Matt Holiday and an Alcides Escobar short print) as well as a Matt Adams black bordered mini.  That's two Cardinals out of three minis so you shouldn't be surprised that I refused to scan them!

Finishing off this post, we have yet another Ancient Armory card.

The Tomahawk was a Native American weapon but it was also a tool used to cut, chop, and even hunt!  It's sort of the original Swiss Army Knife I guess!

Finally, we end with a Banshee!

In Gaelic folklore, the Banshee is an omen of death.  Yikes!  The Banshee is actually the first Menagerie of the Mind card pulled from Box #2 after getting five such cards in the first box of the case.

And with that, only four more packs remain from Box #2.  We should get one more hit - plus I'm hoping for one more mini insert (and remember, I WANT YOUR MINI INSERTS)!  Come back soon to see what we end up getting!
