Barry Larkin
Year: 2015
Brand: Topps High Tek
Parallel set: Chain Link (Pattern 4B)
Card number: HT-BL
The Chain Link pattern is the fourth tier of parallels for the "B" players in 2015 Topps Tek. The analogous parallel for the "A" players is called "Cubes." We have now reached the rather tough portion of parallels to pull - you get either a Cubes parallel or a Chain Link parallel every three boxes of High Tek! Based on stated print runs, the odds of 1:3 boxes suggests that the Pattern 4 cards are limited to only 100 copies of each (despite no serial numbering). This makes sense since you only get four such parallels in a case of High Tek (two Cubes and two Chain Links).
Despite the rarity of the parallel, there are actually still TWO more base parallels that are a tougher pull than the Chain Link parallels. I am happy to report that I also own the two rarer versions and I'll be posting them as part of my Barry Larkin Collection in the near future!
