Barry Larkin
Year: 1993
Brand: Milk Bone
Card number: 3
This might be the only card I own featuring Barry Larkin's pet.
Seriously, the entire 20 card Milk Bone set features 20 different MLB players and their dog(s). And if that wasn't enough, every player in the set had to wear that goofy white hat and act like it was normal for them to do so while being posed with their pups. If you don't believe me, check out the full visual spoiler of the set here.
I actually like that the cards feature dogs since the set was branded Milk Bone. It makes sense. However, now that I've seen this one I wish all the old Kellog's and Post cards had players eating their favorite cereal! Back to the card, the other highlight that must be mentioned is the write-up on the backside of the card. You don't get information about Barry, you get information about Barry's dogs. In this case, we learn that both Kino and Roscoe have completed various trainings and are each capable of performing tricks!

Only in the 90's... they just don't make 'em like this anymore. I have to say, I love your idea about the cereal cards - I'd love to find out if Barry Larkin preferred Corn Flakes or Lucky Charms.
