After months of not gaining any ground on my 1889 original Allen & Ginter 50 Fish from American Waters set, I've had a couple of new additions in the past few months. My latest aquatic creature to join my set is none other than the Brook Trout.
I love the look of the Fish cards - and I also love that I am now down to only needing six more cards before I have the entire set complete! What once started as a fanciful foray has turned into something that now actually (amazingly) seems feasible.
I still can't believe that I typed those words! To think that I'm now closing in on a set that is well over 120 years old (127 years old to be precise) is truly remarkable. Even more remarkable, I may have just acquired the best condition card of all that I own with this Brook Trout acquisition!
