Barry Larkin
Year: 1997
Brand: Upper Deck
Card number: 45
I must admit, I never cared for the design of the 1997 Upper Deck set back when it was released. I distinctly recall thinking how hideous the foil was at the bottom of the card (both the silver foil used for the team logo and the bronze foil used to simulate a bat, presumably). However, I must say that the card scans really well...and the card design isn't nearly so bad as my memory makes it seem! In fact, I could even see trying to complete this set somewhere down the line...especially if all the photographs are as good as the one on the front of this card!
