Tribe Cards Delivers: Pack a Day Spoils (Part II - At Long Last)!

Back on July 1 of this year, I posted the first part of my spoils from Tribe Cards' annual Pack a Day event!  At that point, I promised a part II post that would be coming soon...and then before I knew it Ginter hit and well, the rest is history.

No matter, I'm now ready to show off the second half of my spoils - and if you missed (and/or forgot part I, you can find that here).

This time around, I don't have any cards from particular set needs to show off...but that doesn't mean I didn't end up with some great stuff.  Let's begin with this Gypsy Queen Glove Stories insert from 2013.

I am chasing a bunch of stuff from the 2013 Gypsy Queen set (including base cards still!) but the Glove Stories inserts aren't needed anymore since I've finished off all the insert sets.  For the record, here is what is still needed...

2013 Topps Gypsy Queen Wants:
Base:  14, 87, 92, 99, 124, 126, 133, 144, 189, 202, 208, 213, 215, 239, 330, 331, 334, 340
White Paper Parallels:  1, 10, 17, 26, 31, 34, 37, 42, 48, 65, 70, 74, 81, 95, 105, 112, 123, 129, 130, 141, 154, 166, 173, 184, 205, 211, 214, 229, 233, 240, 243, 253, 255, 265, 269, 296, 300, 303, 335

Should any of you still be working on the 2013 Gypsy Queen set, I have quite a few cards available (including inserts and some serially numbered minis)!  You can find the entire list here.

Moving on, I was lucky enough to land a pair of relics as well - both happen to be of the same player:  Aroldis Chapman.

I have to admit that Chapman's stock really took a nosedive with me when he shot at (?) his girlfriend...and then his stock sunk even lower when he was traded to the Yankees for pennies on the dollar.  If that wasn't bad enough, now he's rocking the Cubbie blue and so he's basically worthless to me.  Still the relics are nice (I love Ginter relics) and that Heritage relic looks great with the bright red bit of cloth!

And finally, in order to get the stink of Chapman out of here - how about a player that virtually no one dislikes:  Ken Griffey, Jr.!

Both of the Griffey cards were new to me, but my clear favorite is the Gypsy Queen bordered card.

Many thanks for hosting the wonderful Pack a Day event!  And, as usual, should anyone wish to trade with me (perhaps you need some Chapman relics) check out my want list and make an offer!
