The 1997 Donruss VxP 1.0 set is a set that definitely did not age well. The "gimmick" of the set was that each pack of cards came with one of six CD-ROMs. If you managed to collect all six of the CD-ROMs and played them on your computer, you unlocked a special screensaver. Luckily for me, Larkin wasn't featured as one of the six players on the CD-ROMs, so by acquiring the above card I've completed the 1997 Donruss VxP 1.0 set in terms of Larkin cards!
Truth be told, I kind of dig the card design here..too bad Donruss "wasted" the design on a small 50-card set packaged with CD-ROMs.

Who thought "old timey pirate" font? I like the idea of the card, but that font is not a good choice.
