Barry Larkin
Year: 1996
Brand: Flair
Card number: 234
Parallel version: Gold foil
The 1996 Flair set has two versions (silver and gold) each of which were printed equally. This particular Larkin card is a gold foil, even if it isn't super easy to tell from the scan (the scan makes the foil look sort of silvery but I promise it's gold). In fact, I don't (yet) own the silver foil version of this base card!
Other than that, there isn't a lot to say about the card. The front is overly textured (and scans like garbage) but at least the card back is nice enough (even if that statistics are a little tough to read). It's not my favorite set in the world, but for a mid-90s set it is surprisingly tame (in fact, the only two Barry Larkin cards in the set are the two different versions of the base card).
