Parallel set: Showcase Series
The Showcase Series parallel set is a partial parallel of the entire 1998 Score set (only 160 cards rather than the full 270 cards of the base set). There is also a Showcase Series Artist's Proof parallel of the parallel but I don't (yet?) own that particular Barry Larkin card.
As for today's card, it's standard fare with a shiny front (that doesn't scan well at all). The backside has a TON of information on it...but it's sort of a text overload for someone who isn't mentally prepared to process that much stuff all at once. I consider this another parallel in the long, long list of pointless parallels...but I'm still glad to have it as a Larkin collector!
