I've finally made it to the final third of my hot box of 2018 Allen & Ginter. I should have two more hits to discover...and if all goes well, the "hot box" parallel version of Barry Larkin's base card for my own collection.

Fredrickson is a boxer which I only know because the card told me. The relic bit seems to be more rubbery than anything...not really sure what it is from but I appreciate that it isn't a boring white or gray bit of cloth (I'm now 2-for-2 on avoiding the most boring relics in the box)!

ReplyDeleteWith the Fredrickson relic, it looks like the texture of a boxing glove. I haven’t seen boxing gloves in person, but I trained in MMA (my son too) so I have used fighting gloves and I would think boxing gloves are similar.
