Monday Mailbag!

This past week was a busy one for several reasons including the July 4th holiday!  I've also been busy setting up for my next Breaker's Club (which will feature a number of different 2021 boxes plus a bunch of older boxes all for one price)!  All that is to say, I didn't spend much time over on TCDB and so this week's mailbag is rather slim...but while there may not be quantity this week, there's definitely some quality acquisitions!

Let's begin with a trade from user twfurey.

Those are the final two cards that I needed from the 2019 Topps Allen & Ginter New to the Zoo mini set.  This is actually the third time I've tried to acquire these two cards.  I had one trade fall through and then I tried buying them off of Sportlots and the seller never delivered.  Thanks to twfurey, I can finally put this set to bed...and with it, the entire 2019 Allen & Ginter set is complete (at least as much of the set as I plan to collect)!  It's also worth noting that the New to the Zoo set is now my 29th completed set in 2021!

My only other package to arrive this week comes from trader hawkking, a guy I've traded with a bunch of times now (always successfully I might add).

The first two cards from hawkking are both from the 2009 Topps American Heritage Presidents insert set.

I haven't done overly well collecting this set...in fact, the entire year of 2009 is one of the biggest remaining years on my want list!  I guess I went overboard back then trying to collect everything and that's come back to haunt me over a decade later.  I mean, seriously, look at my remaining 2009 want list:

What's not silly is getting a bit closer to completing a set via a TCDB trade...and it's even better when a trader also has some new-to-me Barry Larkin cards to add in.

Like I said in the beginning of the post, not a ton of quantity this week but plenty of quality.  A completed set, a few new Larkins, and a couple of new American Heritage Presidents cards...a set that I haven't added to in quite some time!
