TCDB Monday: It's a Monster, Folks!

Monday's are for Catching Up on TCDB Trades!

Last week, I had a ton of trade packages from TCDB users arrive in my mailbox.  So many, in fact, that I couldn't showcase them all last week!  Well, have no fear as I'm going to get all caught up on trade packages this week!

We start with a PWE from user Tjernst2:

Yep, four more minis from 2023 Allen & Ginter.  Unfortunately, one was a duplicate that I managed to trade for previously but still, three new minis isn't bad for a single trade these days.

Next up, another nice batch of minis - this time courtesy of user birdrules:

Even better, I actually needed all six of the minis in this swap so hooray for betting trading on my part!  For the record, my favorite two cards from this particular grouping are the two food cards.  My son loves ice cream sundaes (and so do I, who am I kidding).  I also generally like fish and chips...and yep, now I'm hungry!

Next up, user adamhobson sent me some minis plus a couple of full-sized Ginter cards:

Both the Barry Larkin and the Aaron Judge are short print base cards.  I needed the Larkin for my Barry Larkin collection (I already had one for my set build) while the Judge is actually the final base card that I need for my 2023 Allen & Ginter base set.  Hooray, another set done for the year!

And to close out last week's trades, here's a massive envelope full of Barry Larkin cards from user Redsfan:

That's five Larkin cards that I needed...and here's another five:

Yeah, it's not often I can find a trading partner who has ten different Barry Larkin cards that I still need - so you better believe I pulled out all the stops I could to acquire this batch of cards!

Definitely a solid week last week...and now I can rest easy because I'm all caught up on TCDB trade packages from two weeks ago.  All that being said, I also received another TCDB package last week.

My final trade of the week was with TCDB user bobrogers42:

A couple of Allen & Ginter mini cards went out and in their place this single Rarest of the Diamond mini came in.  I'm getting closer and closer to completing the various 2023 Ginter mini sets - and hopefully some of the other trades that I've agreed to will come in next week and get me even closer to set completion.  I guess you'll just have to stay tuned...and if you have any cards I still need, I'd love to work out some sort of trade!

  1. 1. Love the trade between redsfan and fanofreds. That's a Monty Python skit right there.
    2. Has Ginter ever made a card of nachos?

    1. 1. LOL, yeah it would be a good one (for a very, very niche audience that is).
      2. As far as I know, they have not. However, if Topps ever does watch out as I'll be chasing after all the versions of that particular card (fingers crossed it isn't a short print if it ever does happen)!
