Sometimes, you see a card and you know that you ought to own the card. At least, that's what happened to me recently as I was browsing on eBay. I found a 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter framed autograph of my favorite player: Barry Larkin.
That's right, my favorite player signing a card for my favorite brand. It was meant to be and I knew I had to have the card. Luckily, in this case, the price was reasonable and so I finally have my own copy of Larkin's signed mini autograph. I'm a huge fan of the Ginter brand, specifically the framed relics and autographs, so this is a great addition to my personal collection.
Barry has a nice swooping signature and I was happy to see he kept the "swoops" despite having a much smaller surface area in which to sign. The blue ink pops nicely with the brown frames - all told, easily one of my favorite Larkin cards in my collection now!

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't get much better than your favorite player from your favorite product. These days... any purchase over $25 could be classified as a card I've gotta have. But when I read your question, the card that immediately popped into my head was this Ichiro on-card auto out of 2023 Finest Flashbacks. I saw that my friend had one for sale and I knew I had to own it.
