The Non-Reds Frankenset: Cards #451 - 468

I'd love to finish putting together my first pass through my non-Reds Frankenset.  I did four pages a few days ago and now I'm back to do another couple of pages today.

Cards 451 - 459:

Best card on the page:   I like the angle of the Josh Fields shot, it makes what would be a boring photo somewhat interesting.  I also like the Posada in action shot and the Hermanson photo of him pretending to throw a pitch between two brick pillars.
Worst card on the page:  The Bryan Little isn't great but if I could replace one card it'd be the Dave Winfield (not so much because it's a bad card but rather because I don't love having two cards from the same set on a page, nor do I like having three Yankees on the same page)!  Then again, there are three White Sox on this page and that doesn't bother me nearly so much.  What can I say?  My binder, my rules!
#'s missing still:  91, 190, 191, 193, 194, 195, 196, 196, 198, 199, 227, 279, 347, 353, 368, 369, 373, 375, 399, 401, 406, 415, 417, 436, 445, 459

Cards 460 - 468:

Best card on the page:   It's either the Frank Castillo putting on a jacket while at first base or the Alfonso Soriano card of him holding a base that he presumably stole moments ago.
Worst card on the page:  Can I say all the missing cards are the worst part of this page?  If not, take your pick between either of the 1990 Fleer cards of Pittsburgh Pirate players.  Both cards are acceptable but neither is probably deserving of a spot in the binder.  Unfortunately, the card pickings get slimmer and slimmer as you move up card numbers so we have to make do with what we've got!
#'s missing still:  91, 190, 191, 193, 194, 195, 196, 196, 198, 199, 227, 279, 347, 353, 368, 369, 373, 375, 399, 401, 406, 415, 417, 436, 445, 459, 463, 465, 466

Speaking of making do, that will have to make do for today's post.  Now that my son is home for the summer and no longer in kindergarten, I've realized that I have virtually no free time until he goes off to bed!

  1. A. That Posada is awesome! Great looking card.

    B. I've been hanging with my nieces in Oregon the past week... and I think they wear me out more than my students.

  2. Out of both pages, the Nick Markakis dive is the best. Definitely too many Yankees, but I'd have a hard time removing that big smile of Dave's!
