Another Monday, Another TCDB Mailbag Day

Doesn't it seem like it was Monday only a week ago?!  As usual, Monday brings another week's worth of TCDB trades to the blog so let's dive right in.

First up, from user Misfits138 comes a single Larkin card from the newly released (though dated from last year) 2023 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary:

That's Larkin's regular base card from the set, sort of surprising that I've already acquired eight parallels from the set but never did get the base card.  Luckily, TCDB is a good spot for trading for base cards and so now I can knock a ninth card off of my want list from 2023 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary!

My next trade was a bit bigger in that I sent off 9 cards in exchange for four new 2024 Topps Series 2 Silver Chrome cards in a swap with user Mjprigge:

I'm going all out on the Silver Pack Chrome set and trying to complete the 100 card set from Series 1 and the 100 card set from Series 2.  What can I say, I like shiny stuff sometimes?!

More Series 2 Silver Pack Chrome cards!  Thanks to this trade and the one I showed off earlier, I was able to acquire 10% of the full Silver Pack Series 2 set in a single week.  Of course, it gets harder to do that as my want list shrinks but anytime I can knock out 10% of a set I'm collecting in a single week I have to be pleased!
