The first week of November 2024 is shaping up to be a terrible week for those of us who live in a swing state for the election. I, for one, am so sick of political ads, political mailings, political yard signs, etc. and I cannot wait for this election to be over and done. Luckily, while I may rage against politics I've got some baseball cards to show off that also appeared in my mailbox last week (undoubtedly along with several political fliers).
My lone trade of the week was with TCDB user pinfit but don't let the word "lone" make you think this week as a dud. Not at all, in fact!
That's 14 of the final 15 needed cards from the 1998 Collector's Choice Mini Bobbing Head insert set. I'm now one card away from completing the set...and if I can do that before November is over then at least one good thing will come out of this month!
I love getting needed baseball cards in the mailbox. Now, about clearing out my mailbox of political fliers...hopefully, by next week the crappy political mail will stop and more trades will show up instead (especially now since I'm actively searching for a ton of 2024 Allen & Ginter mini cards)!
And just like that...that's what I love about TCDB trades.
