Barry has three different base cards in the 1996 Finest set and each of those cards has a Refractor parallel. As of the time of this particular post, I now can proudly say that I own all three of the Refractors! Back when I wrote about the base card version of this card design, I said it was quite hideous and my least favorite of the three Larkin cards in the set. While I still think the design is undoubtedly ugly, I will say that the Refractor effect can make even an ugly card look a lot better! I'd even go so far as to say I don't hate the Refractor version...though I won't go so far as to say that I like it a lot.
At this point, I can knock another set off of my want list - I now have all six Barry Larkin cards from 1996 Finest!
