This year's Topps flagship set features Barry Larkin in a few different ways. Barry is part of the 1990 Topps 35th Anniversary Chrome set AND he is part of the "regular" 1990 Topps 35th Anniversary set. Interestingly enough, Topps used different card numbers for the two sets and two different photographs!
Thanks to a quick eBay search, I was able to secure this Pink parallel of Larkin's regular 1990 Topps 35th Anniversary card.
The Pink parallels are not serially numbered but according to Baseballcardpedia's stated odds, the Pink parallels are fairly tough pulls:
Depending on the type of product you are opening, you can expect to see a Pink parallel 1:72 Jumbo packs or 1:289 Hobby packs. Either way you look at it, the Pink parallels are seeded less than one per case (a Jumbo case contains 60 total packs while a Hobby case contains 240 total packs. The fact that I was able to land the Pink Larkin off of eBay for less than $5 (shipping included) makes me happy! Now, all I need to do is track down all of those other parallels for this particular card!
Those 1990 inserts sure look great
