Shiny Cardboard Time plus Trade Bait!

Yesterday, I showed off the results of a recent eBay purchase where I landed a number of new 2025 Topps 1990 35th Anniversary Chrome cards.  Today, I'm back with another eBay purchase for the same sort of thing.  The big question is:  Did I do better with this lot or the previous lot?  As a reminder, in the previous lot, I bought 12 cards but only ended up needing 3 of them by the time the cards actually arrived at my house.   Let's hope for a better return on investment today!

This particular lot was for 11 of the Chrome cards plus another 20 base 35th Anniversary cards.  We'll start with the Chrome cards since that's what made me bid on this particular lot.

I'm happy to report that of the 11 Chrome cards, I needed all but one of them (the lone duplicate being Jose Altuve).  This lot included my second copy of the Barry Larkin Chrome card, but that's good since I need one for my set binder and one for my Barry Larkin Collection binder!

The lot also included a handful of 1990 Topps 35th Anniversary base cards.

This isn't a set that I'm attempting to collect, thus I don't have any interest in the cards and will instead list them on TCDB as part of my trade bait.  Here's hoping I can flip some of those into cards I do want, but even if I don't, I'd still call this particular purchase a resounding success for my collection!

Update:  Between the time I wrote this post and published it, I've already traded away a couple of the above cards.  The plan is working!
