You may have noticed a lack of posts for most of last week. The reason is simple: I got walloped with a head cold /stomach bug that kept me home from work for three straight days. In addition, storms swept through my town twice last week which resulted in us losing power for a total of about 48 hours between the two outages.
Anyhow, all that is to say that hopefully the trials and tribulations of last week are forever in the past and now we can look forward to a brighter week this week! To get things off on the right foot, let's take a look at the results of my most recent trades on TCDB beginning with a single card PWE from user Brewman70:
That's a 2024 Stadium Club parallel called a Chrome Green Refractor. It's not serially numbered but it is very, very green. I admit that it's a stupid parallel but hey, as a player collector, I gotta have 'em all, right?!
Next up, from user herkojerko comes a little of the new and a little bit of the old:
Yep, a pair of 2025 Topps Silver Pack Chrome cards to go along with a solitary 1998 Collector's Choice card. All three cards were set build needs and all three are certainly appreciated by yours truly!
Next, from the humorously named ThrilledSparrow comes two more needed cards for another set build that I'm still plugging away at:
Both of those are Flags of the World minis from last year's Allen & Ginter set. I'm nearing the finish line in terms of most of the 2024 A&G mini insert sets!
Finally, we end with a trade with user RyanFrueh:
Another nice chunk of the 2025 Topps Silver Pack Chrome set in hand! I fully expected Jeter to be one of the final cards that I needed but as it turned out, he isn't one of the final 10 cards that I'm missing. If you are wondering, here is what I am still looking for in order to finish off my set build:
That does it for this past week in terms of TCDB trades. I don't expect such a busy mailbox next week since I barely had the time, energy, or electricity to devote to making new trades last week!
